Dover Community Park

OBJECTIVE   ​

The Chelsea Economic Development Corporation (EDC) Beautification Team is excited to announce the renovation of South Dover Community Park. After noticing the area's deteriorating condition, including the presence of trash and neglected sculptures, the team recognized the opportunity to transform the space into a vibrant and inviting community park. The project aims to enhance the park's aesthetics, create a gathering place for residents, and celebrate the diverse use and love of exotic fruits and vegetables through a new mural installation.

IMPLEMENTATION:

• The project aims to revitalize the park by removing trash, polishing existing sculptures, and introducing new elements such as planters, benches, and tables that enhance the visual appeal and functionality of the space.

• The introduction of a new mural will celebrate the diverse culinary preferences and love for exotic fruits and vegetables within the community, reflecting the multicultural fabric of South Dover.
